A space for Photography

In 2022 Marlike founded Ballon Rouge, aiming to create an inspiring exhibition space for photographers. Ballon Rouge provides a platform for photographic talent and offers individual support and exhibition opportunities, enabling photographers to focus entirely on their artistic development and the creation of their own exhibition.

Focusing on emerging voices in photography, the gallery exhibits documentary, autonomous, or abstract work created from a personal perspective, yet addressing universal and important themes. Ballon Rouge features work that is urgent, thought-provoking, encourages reflection, and prompts viewers to contemplate their own role in the larger context.
